The Lindsay Service Canada Centre provides information and access to Government of Canada programs and services including Employment Insurance, Canada Pension Plan, Old Age Security, Social Insurance Number, Pleasure Craft Licensing, Canada Education Savings Grants, Canada Learning Bond and much more. Qualified staff can assist in printing forms and information for all departments of the Government of Canada.

Victoria County Career Services (VCCS)

Through the development and delivery of programs, the agency shall endeavour to provide responsive and sensitive employment counselling and related services devoted to improving the employability of the residents of The City of Kawartha Lakes.

VCCS was incorporated as a charity and non-profit in 1988 to assist job seekers in the City of Kawartha Lakes. They receive funding for services from the Ontario Ministry of Training, Colleges and Universities' Employment Ontario Program, the United Way for the City of Kawartha Lakes and Service Canada. From time to time they also receive funding from other local and provincial sources. In addition to employment related services to students, youth and adults, they also maintain a community information and volunteer database that is accessible to the community through www.fourinfo.com and 211.
